Today I’m sharing a few of my absolute favorite places to shop which are on trend and affordable. Like most fashion-obsessed women, I have expensive taste. It’s a blessing and a curse! Because of this blessing/curse, I’ve gotten really good at finding stores and brands that I really love, that offer great quality and that won’t break the bank. I tend to shop during sales and I have a hard time purchasing something at full-price. But it’s important to remember that everything is okay in moderation 😁.
Let’s get started!
Express has really upped their game over the last few years. I feel like their quality has always been great, but it can be kind of expensive (for me, at least!). They’re always running some type of sale which I totally love. Their jeans/bottoms are some of the best I’ve worn. I like where the mid-rise jean hit; the fit is super flattering and the material is super comfortable. At first glance their jean prices seem high; but, they are almost always on some type of sale. Right now they have a sale on jeans, buy one get one $29.90. For quality and price-point, I’m not sure you can beat that! I recently bought an oversized v-neck sweater in the color cream and I. AM. OBSESSED. It’s linked below in yellow. I seriously wear it several times a week! It’s easy to throw on, just switch up the shoes and/or bottoms and it looks like a different outfit. How about that for versatility?
I LOVE DILLARD’S!! I can’t say it enough. They’re the ultimate department store with high-quality brands and a lot of different price-points (and like really amazing sales!). I look forward to the New Year’s Day sale every year, because I can always get designer purses for a fraction of the price. Don’t even get me started on their shoes….
This is one of my favorite boutique-type stores. They always have the cutest and on-trend clothes. It’s also my husbands go-to shop when he’s shopping for me.
A few of my other favorite spots:
Necessary Clothing. They’re always my first go-to online store when I’m looking for something new. The price-point is very affordable and the quality is great. I’ve never returned anything, and that says a lot for both online stores and myself (I tend to get buyers remorse and I’m very picky about what I spend money on).
TJ Maxx. I know it’s hit or miss with clothes at TJ Maxx, but if you take the time to look you can find really cute clothes. They’ve been carrying more well-known brands, like Free People, and that’s always fun to find. I also love their athletic assortment. Almost all of my gym clothes are from TJ Maxx!
Lulus. I recently just started shopping here and I’ve only bought a few items. The few items I do have seem to be great quality and they offer an assortment of brands that are well-known in most boutique stores. They have a wide variety of price-points, too.
I also have a handful of local boutiques that I enjoy shopping from, and I always encourage shopping local! If you’re in the Springfield, MO area, check out Clothe Boutique, Staxx, and Modern Society. Springfield is full of great boutique shops, those are just the few I tend to shop from.
I hope this little list was helpful. Let me know in the comment section a few of your favorite affordable clothing brands!
